Ki-Reflex.

During my time as a Complementary Practitioner I have been extremely pleased with the healing effects my clients have received through both their Reiki and Reflexology treatments. This prompted me to consider integrating these two treatments to offer the perfect healing combination. After much research, reading and soul-searching(!) I am now in a position to offer Ki-Reflex.

Ki - This is the 'ki' of Reiki. It refers to the life energy in all living things. It is often defined as breath, wind, air, vital essence.....the activating energy of the universe. Ki appears in many languages:

In Chinese, Chi or Qi
Christ Light to Christians
Prana in Hindu
Bioplasms in Russia
Mana to Hawaiian Kahunas
In English, the Breath of Life, Vital Life Force Energy

If your Ki is blocked or low you are more prone to illness. When this is at optimum levels you are less likely to become ill.

Reflex - In Reflexology, 'reflex' refers to the points on the feet which correspond to other areas in the body. Treating these 'reflex' areas restores balance and promotes well-being.

Ki-Reflex Treatment

A detailed consultation will be carried out to determine details of your health and lifestyle. This information is treated in the strictest confidence.

The recipient will be asked to lie down, fully-dressed on a treatment couch. To maintain comfort, pillows and blankets are provided. I commence with the Ki part of the treatment. This starts at the recipients head and works slowly towards the feet. Ki affects the recipient on four levels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual encouraging deep relaxation and a distinct healing response.

When I reach the recipient's feet they are given Ki energy to help balance all their major organs and glands and then the 'Reflex' part of the treatment begins. As the recipient has already reached a deep state of relaxation the reflexology is able to work on much deeper levels. A full reflexology treatment then follows.

Both of these treatments have been adapted to allow them to integrate successfully. Consideration is also given to each recipient's individual requirements making each of these treatments a truly unique experience.
